It is expected that more people than ever will stay at home and holiday in the UK this year. With the vaccine being rolled out there is light at the end of the tunnel and people are now thinking they can get away this summer. Like everyone else we cannot wait until travel restrictions are lifted to get back out on the road. With demand expected to surge and the need to have a break to look forward to we have made it easier to book a break with our flexible booking policies.
The safety of our passengers and colleagues is of the utmost importance to us at all times but even more so in the current climate. Taking into consideration both Government and WHO advice, please see below the actions Discover Scotland Tours have taken to ensure maximum safety for everyone.

Before and after each tour, our coaches are fully cleaned and sanitised by our qualified team. Additionally, we have enhanced our cleaning and hygiene protocols further by way of fogging our coaches. The antibacterial & antiviral surface disinfectant used in the fogging machine uses pressure to create a fine mist (or fog) which is applied within the coach. The fine fog reaches into corners and areas that are difficult to get to during normal cleaning. This additional cleaning measure will further help prevent the spread of any possible bacteria ensuring your coach is fully sanitised prior to going on tour.

In order to ensure we protect our island communities, it is recommended for all that are visiting the islands to take 2 lateral flow tests prior to visiting. As a responsible employer all of our customer facing staff have agreed to take part in the Lateral Flow Test scheme and we would encourage our passengers to do the same. If you are travelling from within the UK you can order your free Lateral Flow Tests online here. Alternatively, there is also the option to collect tests from a local test site or pharmacy. You can read more about these options here.
In the current climate of social distancing and bubbles, now more than ever may be the time to consider a private tour of Scotland for your family and friends.
